MUSICAL CAREER

April 19: Brian Littrell receives a call from his cousin Kevin Richardson while in his History class; asks her to audition for an up-and-coming group. Brian agrees over the phone and finds himself on a flight to Orlando, FL the next day.

April 20: Backstreet Boys is officially a Boyband.

May 8:  The Boys perform their first big show together at Sea World in Orlando, FL to a crowd of over 3,000. During the summer of 1993 the Boys continue to perform in a variety of venues, from shopping malls to charity events throughout Florida.

September 5:  “We've Got It Go In On” is released as a single (see video)

December 13:  “I Never Break Your Heart” is released as a single (see video)

They win their first award for “Best New Tour” at the Smash Hits Award.

April 30:  "Get Down (You're The One For Me) is released as a single (see video)

May 6: They publish their first album “Backstreet Boys”.

August 11: They publish their second album “Backstreet Back”

December 27: BSB embarks on a tour of 60 cities and 20 countries.

1998

January 13: They released “All I Have To Give” as a single (see video)

October 7: Declared "Backstreet Boys Day" in Orlando, FL. The boys receive the keys to the city from the Mayor of Orlando in honor of the tornado benefit concert the group headlined in March, which raised more than $250,000.

April 20 - They hold a special 20th anniversary fan celebration live from Hollywood.

April 22 – BSB receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

July 31: BSB performs to over 20,000 people at The Grove in Los Angeles.

May 5: “In A World Like This” world tour kicks off in China

June 12: BSB makes a cameo in the comedy 'This Is The End' (Watch Video)

July 18: The band premieres the music video 'In A World Like This' on Good Morning America.

July 30: The band's first album since Kevin rejoined, "In A World Like This", is released. The album debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, making the Backstreet Boys the first act since Sade to have nine US top 10 albums and the only boybands in doing it.

August 2: The US leg of the IAWLT tour begins in Chicago.

October 25: Cruise ship BSB #3 sets sail from Miami.

November 19: Music video for 'Show Em What You're Made Of', IAWLT's second single, is released (Watch Video)

October 20: The boys participate in the launch of Balmain for H&M.

November 23: Nick finishes second in Dancing With The Stars.

2016

April 1: Dead 7 premieres on SyFy. Movie written by and starring Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and Aj Mclean, plus other guys from other boybands.

May 10: Cruise #5, the first European cruise, sets sail with a sold-out ship.

May 13 – BSB breaks the Guinness World Record for the most nationalities in a hot tub.

June 5: The BSBs sing at Miss USA.

July 7: Meghan Trainor performs 'I Want It That Way' with BSB on Greatest Hits. (watch video)

August 19: The boys appear on 'God, Your Mama, And Me', a new song by the band Florida Georgia Line.

September 23: The boys announce their 2017 Las Vegas residency.

December 31: The boys perform in Las Vegas.
