Nickolas Gene Carter, our Nick Carter, alias Frack, was born on January 28, 1980 in Jamestown, New York; although he grew up in Ruskin, Florida. Her mother is Jane Elizabeth Spaulding and her father Robert Carter, who died in 2017. Her siblings are: Bobbie Jean, Leslie (died 2012), and twins Aaron and Angel. And his stepsister on his father's side, Ginger R. Elrod.
He has stood out since he was a child for his powerful voice that has matured wonderfully over the years, which led him to participate in various musical productions and talent contests. As we know, since 1993 he has been the singer of the BackStreet Boys being the youngest of the group and one of the most adored by the fans.
Simultaneously in 2002 Nick began his solo career in which he composed several of the songs launching the album "Now Or Never" whose single Help Me reached number one on several stations. The album achieved worldwide approval, reaching gold certification in both the United States and Canada. He went on tour at the beginning of 2003 and although at the end of that same year he started working on his second album, he had to postpone it due to the new release of the album with the other BSB.
It is no secret that his family problems have been aired by the press and it may be for this reason that in 2006 he participated in the reality show "House of Carters", where he shows his most intimate family part since he exposed the coexistence with his five brothers under the same house with the purpose of strengthening the ties between them. The program lasted one season consisting of 8 chapters.
Nick has also shown his interest in the world of cinema, where he has written scripts and directed films. The first one was in 2010 “The Pendant”, a 15-minute short that he posted on his own website and it seems that there is a second one in 2012 that did not come to light.
He wrote his first book in 2013 titled Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It. It is a very personal book where he recounts his difficulties with drug and alcohol addictions. At the moment it is only available in English.
In 2014 he returns with another reality show "I Heart Nick Carter", in this case focused on his relationship with Lauren Kitt around the preparation of their wedding that took place in April of that same year and in which they make us part by showing us even part of the wedding night….
After several attempts to reshoot a movie, even raising $156,214 through an online funding campaign, he was able to release his Dead 7 script in April 2016. The movie takes place in a zombie apocalyptic setting and features the presence of of his wife Lauren, who is the co-star, as well as his partners AJ and Howie among other familiar faces.
In 2015 he participated in the program Dancing with the Stars with his dance partner Sharna Burgess where, despite his insecurities, he showed great skills as a dancer that led him to get second place. During the broadcast of the program he announced that he was going to be a father and on April 19 his first child with Lauren Kitt, Odin Reign Carter, was born. In May 2019, during the “DNA Tour” she announced on social media that she is expecting her second baby, which we are very happy about.
